Aug. 20th, 2010:

It has so many uses, it's easy to clean, it's easy to carry. it can easily carry a variety of foods, it can carry a lot of food, I don't have to worry about it spilling, my friends think it's awesome, it was much less expensive than I thought it would be, I have the 4 tray med. Tiffin, so I can take lots of food and still have space to carry salt, pepper, hot sauce and eating utensils.

I'm a firefighter/EMT and work 24 hour shifts. I often have to work at stations other than the one I'm assigned to. You never know if that station eats together or if you have to provide your own meals so, I always take my own food. Taking food to keep you fed for 24 hours is often a problem, especially bringing leftovers - which often leaks from the plastic containers I use. Plus, when you bring a variety of foods to a different station than your own, your food tends to get mixed with theirs and sometimes some of your food mysteriously disappears (unintentionally I'm sure). The 4 tier medium latch tiffin I bought has solved all those problems and more. Nothing leaks, my food is stored neatly in the fridge, no one can mistake my food as 'up for grabs' and it takes up much less space than keeping it in bags or various sized plastic containers. Another great use is, when I'm working on an ambulance you can never count on being able to sit down a nd enjoy a meal - we are very busy and any moment at the station, not on an emergency call, is treasured. Being able to quickly scrape my meal into a tiffin container and take my meal on the ambulance to finish at the hospital is wonderful - and has really cut down on grabbing a burger or other fast food.Everyone that's seen my latch tiffen wants one- so be expecting to get a lot more orders from the City of Memphis Fire Dept.

Mari said... There isn't a one I wouldn't love to have. Thanks for introducing them to us all. Love the concept and the looks...very cute. The pyramid party one intrigues me, as do the lunch bag ones. Put your fav snacks in each and voila...you have a complete meal. Gonna have to put these on my Christmas list. March 16, 2010 4:34 AM
Andrea said... I love the Pyramid Tiffin lunch boxes! They're so cute and stylish, and it looks like the bottom containers would hold a goodly amount of food. The one you have pictured in your post is cute too! They'd be so handy for my husband's lunch everyday. March 16, 2010 4:57 AM
ThyHandHathProvided said... I like their airtight, liquid tight stainless steel air-tight, liquid tight lunch bowls. I'm always wishing I could send soup with Jamey for lunch, but we're afraid our containers would leak or (in the case of a mason jar) could break. I'm already a follower:-). March 16, 2010 6:09 AM
Anke said... I like any of their stackable pyramid boxes. They would be awesome for my kids or my husband to take their lunch with them. March 16, 2010 6:23 AM
Rural Revival said... I like the stackable latch tiffin lunch boxes . I could definitely use something like this for work everyday. I have an hour commute so going home for lunch isn't an option. These sure would make it nicer! ~Andrea~ March 16, 2010 6:32 AM

Amy said... I saw a lot of great stuff over there, and have bookmarked the site. The mess trays are adorable, and so retro. The orange insulated would be a must with the great stacking system. This will be perfect for summer outings and trips to the park! March 16, 2010 7:59 AM
Talitha said... I saw something similar in a movie once (can't remember which movie for the life of me) and I've wanted one ever since. My daughter packs a lunch to school every day and it's been a challenge to find a lunchbox for her. We did the traditional lunch box (only lasts a year), we did the bento box (too small), and she refuses to use paper & plastic bags (good girl!). Anyway, this looks like the perfect solution! I checked out the website and the insulated tiffin is exactly what I would purchase. I like the orange but I know The Bug would prefer green. The only thing I'd like that I don't see on their site is little dividers for each container. March 16, 2010 8:33 AM
Katie said... These are great! I would love to use the latch tiffin lunch boxes to store my stock in the freezer. Then, I could avoid the plastic and the leaning tower of stock that threatens to fall over every time I need to look around for something in there. Having them all latched together would make it so simple to take them in and out and reheating the frozen stock would be a snap on the stove top. One less thing I have to wash since the tiffins can be placed directly on the stove top and heated. What a great product! March 16, 2010 8:36 AM
Shelly said... All of the products are really nice. Would love to try the square 4 tier stackables with the latch, as this would allow me to pack the hubby a more rounded lunch all in one container(s) without him having things leak out. I am already a follower. March 16, 2010 8:56 AM
Mommy said... I like them all! The pyramid ones and the stacking latch ones are really nice! Thanks! Cristy March 16, 2010 11:50 AM
Anonymous said... These are awesome-I like them all. I would start out with the pyramid ones for my kids lunches. These are so cute and a great idea. I have 5 kids so would have to invest in them one at a time. My only fear would be that they would get lost or stolen-even at my kids christian school-you'd be surprised. :( joanna in ca. Sherry and Russ Sutherby said... I love the green "Happy Tiffin" insulated carrier with the medium 2-tier Tiffin! It actually reminds me of two things. The Amish...and when I was introducing queen bees to hives many years ago. The bee keeper I accompanied had a lunch pail that was very similar. It was so plain, but I remember today how cute it was ~ loaded with her PB & J, a red apple (and a linen napkin) and a red plaid thermos to match, filled with chilled milk. So simple, but wholesome. We ate under a shade tree, near the hives. I would do my Tiffin proud ~ and use it on my farm. Every lunch would be as special! March 16, 2010 2:53 PM Candy Duell said... I love the stainless steel air-tight, liquid tight lunch bowls, they would be wonderful bringing lunch to work in them. I also like the latch tins. Thanks! March 16, 2010 3:57 PM

Erin said... I love the orange insulated tiffin carrier bag that comes with the 3-tier tiffin! My husband and I both work outside of the home and pack our lunches daily. Right now we reuse paper and plastic shopping bags. My favorite thing about the insulated tiffin bag is that it keeps food warm. That would mean no more using the microwave at work! Not to mention the fact that the tiffin and its bag are uber-hip -- who wouldn't want to eat lunch out of such a beautiful container? March 16, 2010 5:02 PM
Laura said... I think they are all great, but I think the large 2 and 3 tier Tiffins would be perfect for leftovers and for my man to take to work. March 16, 2010 6:23 PM
Toña Elena said... I am definitely interested in the 37oz Airtight, Liquid Tight,Stainless Steel Lunch Bowl. My husband has gotten much better at taking leftovers to work but he's always worried about leakage (soups)and breakage (glass containers) and thus puts the plastic container into a plastic bag and it is all around not a good solution. March 16, 2010 7:00 PM
Anonymous said... I love everything on the site, but the stainless steel air-tight, liquid tight lunch bowls were my favorite. Perfect for sending lunches to work. Erin March 16, 2010 7:33 PM
Kate said... Gosh, I'd love to win this. I especially like the square, stackable tiffins. The square design seems like they'd be the best choice for using up fridge space efficiently. I would definitely use them for leftover storage. I also wonder whether a tiffin would work well in my solar oven. Perhaps Happy Tiffin might consider adding a black enamel coating to the exterior of some of their tiffins for use in solar ovens? Just a thought... March 17, 2010 6:17 AM

Joyce Rachum said... Love the Tiffins too! Would love to have one for my hubby's lunch. I've been trying to move away from plastics more and more. Expensive to try and replace everything, little bits at a time though. I could see my husband using the medium 2-tier tiffin for lunches and the larger 3 or 4-tier tiffins for picnics with the kids. I know my kids would love them too since they do not care for the use or taste of foods stored in plastic. March 17, 2010 8:06 AM
